and industrial safety & security is our management fundamental
task, and will implement necessary activities as a key basis of
our business activities in overseas as well as in Japan.

- 1. Safety and health philosophy.
- Optrex group will, in compliance with the Labor
Standards Law, the Industrial Safety and Health Law and local
regulations, secure safety and health and create comfortable working
environment for our employees.
2. Safety and health Policy Calling for:
- Improving the working environment and enhancing the safety of
the facilities to prevent labor accidents.
- Creating comfortable working environment and support healthy
and sound work of our employees.

- Optrex group will take appropriate measures to
protect the safety of our employees and to prevent the occurrence
of accidents or disasters .

Optrex to start shipment of environmentally
friendly LCD products
|
| Optrex Corp. starts shipping LCD products that comply with the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronics Equipment (RoHS) *1 Directive issued in EU countries.
Standard LCD products to be shipped from April 2005 onward will be gradually converted to comply with the RoHS Directive.
RoHS-complying custom products will be shipped subject to prior customer approval. Please contact our sales representatives for further information. It is to be noted that some products may need time to meet the Directive requirements.
The Reduction of environmentally hazardous substances has been implemented as Optrex’s major environmental effort over the years, and this includes establishment of in-house “Green Procurement Standards” . Optrex remains committed to the development of environmentally friendly products.
