A manufacturer specializing in the production of small and medium size LCDs, OPTREX develops and supplies a variety of LCDs to the market. Support is provided by a continuous production system extending from product planning and research and development to design and manufacturing. This is further backed by the cooperation of our production bases and R&D departments, centered on the development departments in our head office, Hiroshima Development Center and Technical Center(April 2003 open). Our R&D departments in particular have been energetically involved in "panel technology," including liquid crystal materials, "driving technology," promoting LCD colorization, and "surface mount technology," for efficient assembly of each product to be mounted. We have also introduced the most advanced production equipment available as well as clean rooms and FA to our five production bases worldwide to maintain a system that can cope quickly with the delivery terms and product lots desired by our clients.
