We amended the current Green procurement content and management policy stressing "procurement of materials to supply environment
guaranteed products to customers" and hereby amended the Green procurement policy.
Green procurement can not be realized without understanding of suppliers. We highly appreciate suppliers understanding and
cooperation.

OPTREX Corporation (OPTREX) has been growing as a joint business of Asahi Glass Co., Ltd.(Asahi) and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation(Mitsubishi) since 1976. Today both of parent companies decided to sell all of their shares to Japan Industrial Partners, Inc.(JIP: Principle business address: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Mr. Hidemi Moue,) in February, 2008 and signed the agreement on stock transfer.
